We welcome postdocs with quantitative backgrounds, be it in physics, applied mathematics, computer science, or engineering. Postdocs should contact Daniel directly and have in mind a project/topic they want to pursue. If you have a fellowship, or plan on applying for one and need a host, please let us know.
Similarly, we welcome students with quantitative backgrounds. Beyond that, all that we require is interest in fluid mechanics or nonlinear dynamics. Interested students should apply directly to the PhD program in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston, and follow up with an email to Daniel indicating their interest.
We also welcome undergraduate students to work in our group. This can be as part of an honors thesis, summer research fellowship, or simply to gain research experience.
